any okc user help with testing ren32 or ren-w?

I can coonect my xbee explorer as transmit and talk to miniren but no connection from ren32 out to ren-w. I have another ren32 to build to test output of first ren32 but I have to build it up first.

I'm in Yukon.
 
Ren-W needs to tap +5v from the Ren32. It's not just "plug it in and go." Someplace on the Ren32 is a spot where +5v is found -- connect a wire from that point to one of the +5v pins. The Ground connection is made when you connect the cat5 cable from the Ren-W to the RS485 OUTPUT of the Ren32. And if you have the Rev6, Rev7 or Rev8 version of the Ren-W and you're trying to transmit from the RP32, be sure there's a jumper on the Ren-W's TX pins.
 
I tapped off ren32 to get 5v from test port and am running that to ren-w in cat5 on pin8. Ren-w powers up and blue light flashes. Tried hex console on xtcu but no code coming through using xbee exp as receiver. Need to get another board and test rs485 from ren32 to see if data coming through. Using renard tester app rather than vixen.
