The scariest thing is if you read the story..." without the long term knowledge [of city workers] of how to build the tree" ... so it's a 100ft tall, 30,000lb jigsaw puzzle in the shape of a tree.

Hope somebody can figure it out and put it to good use!. I'm personally too close to the airport for a 100ft tree (I'd have to get FAA airspace approval)

Says they are lighting the brand new 100' tree this November but I don't see any information on the new one?

It's nice of them to sell a tree to someone else that was deemed "structurally unsound" and "unsafe" Maybe they should sell it as scrap only.
