Boscoyo PixaTrim

I am trying to pick a Boscoyo product that will work for me. I am putting lights around windows, from the inside(bay windows). I plan on 3d printing my own clips to put the lights in. They will be C9s with WS2811 pixels in them. I want to do 3 or 4 inch spacing, but I really would like it to be pretty rigid. Is the 'pixatrim' rigid? or would I have to run a rod of some sort on the entire length? Not a big deal, but wanted to avoid if I could.

I don't have the pixatrim, but I do have the chromatrim. Both descriptions state that they are designed to be ziptied to a rigid frame along with "can be rolled up for shipping" or something close to that so I don't think it'll be rigid enough to be free standing.

The Chromatrim is fairly thick for what it is but not supportive enough on it's own. Pretty sure a frame is the way to go.
