Can't get background sequence to run

I finally got my first mega tree setup, and until I get it integrated into all of my sequences, I made a simple sequence just for it to run in the background. However, it will not run. It loads fine, but just doesn't run. I'm going to take a look at the logs tonight, but was just wondering if anyone else had any issues or thoughts.

I looked at the logs. It seems that my sequence is running 1.01 seconds before the shutdown command. And the sequence is 1 minute long.

It is absolutely in my "background" section and not the "shutdown" section.

The problem is that the sequential only runs for the pause of 1 sec. The background sequence runs during the sequential, not the startup. So the background starts up when the pause of 1 sec does. My guess is the show schedule ends at the same time as the sequential starts, so shutdown then occurs and the background stops. So based on what I see, I think it is working as configured.
