The PCB inside each tube has 6 super bright LEDs on both sides of the PCB for a 360 degree flash. There are 10 strobes per string and can be daisychained up to 10 strings for a total of 100 strobes. They are sealed to be waterproof. They can be either controlled off a DC controller or could be connected to a pixel controller via an assembled WS2811 DC-SSR boards.
These strings area available right now through our winter pre-sale and are available as individual strings or a three pack along with an assembled pixel DC-SSR. The pixel DC-SSR has three outputs so you connect each string to an output. You can drive up to 30 strings (300 strobe tubes!) off a single DC-SSR!
Like most other strobes they take a little time to randomize. We recommend ramping up the voltage slowly and apply full power when you want them to flash in your sequence.
