Fix Bent Coro

I have some Coro stars from Boscoyo and stored them on their side with a bit of weight on them. They bent in on the ends. Can heat be applied to straighten the ends back out?

I used a hot driveway to get mine straight. I had some candy canes that twisted. Laid them flat in the drive and put some weights on it. Three hot days later I took them inside and most of the twist was gone.

I agree with martin. A blacktop driveway on a hot summer day is the best way to do this. It's also great for straightening out coiled plastic pipe. Unfortunately, I don't think we're going to see any more of those days before showtime this year.

The key for getting it to work is that the heat needs to be very uniform across the whole piece, and it needs to cool uniformly too. A heat gun is probably going to make things worse, not better.
