Is Pex Barrier Pipe usable for arches?

I have some arches made with Polypropelene (https://www.screwfix.ie/p/floplast-push-fit-pipe-white-40mm-x-3m/65426) which I want to replace - they're unwieldy to store and the curve on them was difficult to get smooth and even. Screwfix (ireland) have rolls of PEX barrier pipe - https://www.screwfix.ie/p/fpx15b-25-push-fit-pe-x-barrier-pipe-white-15mm-x-25m-white/54479 - but I don't know if the 'barrier' part means that they're not translucent like 'normal' pex is, or if all pex has this?

If anyone has used this specific screwfix pipe to build arches it would be great to know if it works.
thanks
Ken

Looking at the video, I have to ask if there is a middle black layer on your PEX pipe. There appears to be as you look at the cross section that they cut. This could take down the amount of light transmission getting out of the pipe. The best thing to do is shine a light into the pipe and see how much you can view coming through it.

Yeah that was my plan B - buy a roll of it, send some pixels into it and see what if anything comes out and bring it back if need be. Bit of a PITA but at least there's one close enough to me

It looks to me like O2 barrier could potentially be better, because you have other lights in your display, and the O2 barrier is glossy.
