LOR status light flashing

What does it mean to have the red status light flashing on a LOR box? Some of my boxes the status light is completely on and three of them it's flashing.
 
Are they all the same generation? Have you ran a test in the Hardware Utility to make sure they are all visible on the network?
 
Yes they are all blue boards and yes when I run the LOR they stay all stay lit. When I run in the DMX mode I'm having a communication problem were 4 different channel ones come on at the same time.
Do you think I could have a bad cat 5 cable? I sort off ruled that out because they work in LOR hardware.

If it's flashing it's not seeing the computer. If it's off there is no power to the controller. If its completely on then it is seeing the computer.
