KC,
Would it be possible to write a plug in for the MCC DIO boards. I saw that there is one for the National Instrument's board. I also found out that you have been working with my good friend Jon Williams. I will be using the FC-4 with my display as well, but I have 300 channels with my MCC boards.

Brian

Jon is awesome, I've enjoyed working with him.

Is there a specific MCC board in question?

I feel bad a bout hi-jacking this request, but there hasn't been a response in a day or two... so...

PCI-DIO24....

PCI-DIO24 has been noted. Thanks, Jeff.

MCC Boards

KC,
Here are the MCC boards that I have. I would also be more than happy to send them to you, if you need them to test the plugin.

CIO-DO192H
CIO-DO96H
PCI-DIO48

I would also love to see a plugin to controll Animated Lighting hardware, since I know we will not see one for LOR.(lol)

That would certainly make the development process faster and easier. Any special cabling needed?

If AL is anything like LOR, then they do not part with their secrets so easily.

They are , and they won't.
Unless they have come out with library you can purchase.
But purchase will probably be the key here.
Tony

P.S. You working for LOR may actually make this less of a likelyhood, unless you guys (the industry so to speak) are sercretly talking a unified light control protocol.

KC,
There are 3 boards. One of them uses a 50 pin D-sub and the other two use 50 pin SCSI cables. They output high, I have built boards that will convert the signals to low and out a RJ45 and should be compatable with the SSR circuits floating around (Seans). PM me with your shipping address, I will be out of town until next Friday but I can send them out then. As for Animated Lighting it can be done, just like D-light did it with LOR. I have already talked with Jon about sniffing the protocol.

Think of a snowball in a very hot place.
