Yup, that's the new and improved version. I hope to get to post some pictures of the origianl pickups and some construction pictures later.

These are the trucks I made. They are constructed out of alum bar stock with casters for wheels.

(since I can't figure how to post pic / works / pic there will be several posts)

This was the set up for the pick ups I used last year. 12g wire I stripped the insulation off and stapled to the table top supplied the power. I then used clothes hangers which were attached to the engine car and then to the motor. Problem I had was the wire would move thus stopping the car and while the pick ups worked it seems that they would put just a little too much down force at various points on the table and lift the drive wheel just enought to spin.

Base for the table top. I used door hinges to attach each section which allows for easy storage.
