I am new to this but have been reading through most of the mini tree threads on this forum and other places. My main concern is storage so I ruled out solutions like building trees with PEX pipes, tomato cages, fake trees (they look nice, though) etc. Instead, I am looking at purchasing some 'regular' spiral trees, remove the preinstalled lights and add pixels. However, they are kind of expensive searching HD, Lowes, Target, Walmart, Amazon, Ebay, Aliexperess, etc. I see some pretty inexpensive ones on Alibaba, i.e. around $10 for 3 feet trees. Not sure about shipping cost. Has anybody purchased spiral Christmas trees from Alibaba? Do you have any particular recommendations? Btw, I am looking for trees that have a star at the top that I want to control separately from the tree.
