Amusing that the post about adding a subforum for quads that some say is not needed now has become a discussion about said quads.

It's just a subforum. I don't understand the debate. The benefit is it keeps other forums to topic. The con is ... nothing. No one gets hurt. No one loses an eye. Mr Admin spends 10 seconds typing in a name and done. We all get back to business as usual.

I don't mind having a lot of forums, sub or main. This is IF we have a way to either block or accept from them. It is getting to be a full time job following threads now. Success...I guess.

Just an update from the Admin. I set up the poll for 7 days. I am going to let the thread continue. After the poll closes I will decide the direction we will go based on member input. It seems as though a general off topic technology forum might be the way to go.
