Pic's and Video Tips Wanted

I made some custom pixel props that turned out really nice. I'm really happy with the colors and brightness.

When I try and photograph or video the props they all look some shade of white, not the vibrant reds, greens, blues, they are. The adjacent LED bulbs look reasonably ok, just not the pixels.

Do you have any pointers using an iPhone to snap pic's?

In many cases, it is on the controller side. Dim your display way down and it will photograph better.
