Preview is out of sync

I am having issue to see some elements in my preview during sequence running time .
What I did:
- I saved my layout into a library from Song1
- Imported the whole library layout into Song2
- Checked all the channels and Display Group assignment (all in sync)
- open preview file in Song2 - the whole updated layout is there (I am using only 1 preview file)
But when I test my sequence most of the newly created elements are not there.
I added 20 new elements into sequence 1 month ago and these are there. Then I added 35 new elements (snowflakes) a week ago and I miss these.
They just don't show up during the sequence preview playback in song2.
Any idea where should I look or what to do to fix it?
I am sharing the same preview file between sequences.

Thanks for any help

No - I don't see them. That's what confuses me.
But I see them when I edit preview from the same sequence. They are there with proper preview group channels assigments.

Zip up the following and send it to me

Sequence HLS file.
Audio PCM file
From Library -- the Preview file.
From HLS Main -- the Preview Compile file
The Nutcracker folder.

I'll take a look.

Are you Previewing from Display Grid?

If YES -- remember - I told you the Preview would come up but with NO BLACK objects --- Preview is still running.

Wait and see after a couple of minutes if the BLACK objects appear.

Does the OTHER sequence work with the Preview or have you added Preview elements since you last tried.

Thanks.

Joe

I am previewing the full sequence with Preview from Display Grid disabled.
The other sequence has the new elements. I added the new elements a week ago and finished sequencing on the “Wizard in winter” sequence.
Then I imported the new layout to older sequence (Music box dancer). Here I am having issue to see the elements during playback (but edit preview has them)

Thank you Joe for your help.

Here is the zip file. I gave you both sequences to compare.

Here are 2 snapshots what I can/NOT see.
Missing elements: Old Layout.png
All elements (correct): CorrctLayout.jpg

I load the MB sequence and Preview and all snow flakes are present.

I have no suggestions since it does not fail on my machine.

I'll ponder on it and see if something bubbles up.

Had a thought ....

Make a CSV export of you MB sequence.

Open it in Excel --- check to make sure all the snowflake group/channels are there and they are not dup'd with another channel.

Hi Joe, problem solved!

I just re-identified the preview file under PreView-> Identify Preview Control File.
This probably updated a record for the sequence somewhere. I wish I would do this simple click before I started all this. It would save us both a bunch of time.
Since I saw the element in edit mode I did not have a need to do some "update action" on the control file. And that's what started all this.
It's a user mistake.

Where the "Identify Preview Control File" action update the record?

Thank you very much for your time and please accept my apology.

Thanks Petulka77 for your help!

I was having the exact same problem. Added several elements to a preview for one song.
Opened another song, updated the preview group and preview number, and the new elements would not show up in the preview.
I could go into edit preview and everything would show and everything looked correct.
Tried all kinds of stuff, compared CSVs, read a bunch of threads, then I found this one.
Re- "Identify Preview Control File" (I only have one) fixed my problem.

Open the Compiled Preview File in a text editor.

The last two columns are Preview Group and Number --- make sure they are there.

SAVE in the Preview Editor is what generates the file.
