Im running a lynx dmx dongle (enttec pro equiv) on a vista 64bit rig.. controlling a Freestyle and set of SSR's. Interestingly, each time I take something off the system (first time had to fix a solder bridge on the dongle and 2nd time I had to replace a resistor on the Freestyle) the routine works... but only the first time everything is connected... If I turn the computer to sleep mode/is shut off, nothing works after that... the hardware is unchanged... so I believe this is a problem with a vixen plugin or Vista 64 bit... I get no error messages but no blinky flashy once this occurs. Ive tried dissconnecting, reconecting, and every variation of cat5 usb and power cables to no avail. Checked all com port settings and nothing is changed. Checked voltage across the board and everything is correct just getting no output from the computer. So the computer is the main variable. Anyone have any ideas?
