Wanting to build mini tree's

Has anyone used the holiday coro pixnode tree setup? I am struggling with the decision of using those, tomato cages, repurposing spiral tree's from Home Depot, etc. Anyone words of wisdom here?

Thanks!

Very happy with my tomato cage mini trees. 42" tomato cages wrapped in chicken wire with 100 bullet nodes each.

i kept finding that the welds were broken, it was all bent out of share, etc when looking at home depot and lowes. Did you make repairs to yours?

I bought small 4' artificial trees from Walmart after Christmas a few years back for about $5 a piece. Put new lights on them, ran a 4' piece of rebar down near the middle to keep them standing, and used them for about 5 years. Last year (and this) I tried the Large Holiday Coro trees and had success. I'm not sure if I like how tall they are, but my wife really does. Here's a couple videos for comparison, sorry no close up shots though.

Jeez. Impressive!

This is bascially the same as the holiday coro ones. Do they look like tree's at night? Or just a cone with lights on it?

Some people have said their pixels don't fit in the Holiday Coro mini trees. They don't give refunds either.

On their website it says:

"NOTICE: This product has a hole size of .43" to .45" (10.9mm to 11.43mm) - If using non-HolidayCoro sourced nodes, ensure that your nodes will fit this hole size."
