I have several new sets of warm white C6 50 light sets outlining my windows and doors. Just basic sets from a big box store. They've been in use less than two weeks. The last ten or so bulbs at the end of one set is suddenly illuminating multicolor. Any thoughts on what would cause this or how to correct it? These were not sold as color changing and have no RGB controller. Just a male and female plug on the ends. Thanks.

Just seems like a trick my kids would try to play on me [emoji2369]
Perhaps if you posted make and model numbers and pictures of the lights then we could help you better. Close up of the bulbs would be helpful, also a photo that shows the cable and ends.
All the dumb strings I’ve used from box stores do not have an ability to change colours unless you physically replace the bulb.
Some colour shifting lights have pixels in them that could allow this to happen, but for your basic strand they will use single colour LEDs, not Pixels.
