Bug​

  • [VIX-3593] - When creating a duplicate preview, props are missing from the new preview

Improvement​

  • [VIX-3597] - Add the option to export the wire diagram as a front or back view
  • [VIX-3606] - Add logic to specifically trap the missing Nutcracker effect and give the user a warning and option to remove the effects or cancel
 
I downloaded this release 3.11u1 but it crashes when I click "configure preview". Is there a fix for this. Could it be just a setting on my end. Been using vixen for 4 year. I always to wait till the last minute and end up with issues. Thanks for any help.
 
This is a known issue. Vixen has two previews one is Windows GDi based the other is OpenGL based. The GDI preview is the default. Do you know which one you were using?
 
You could search your ModuleStore.xml to see which preview you were using? You have to select the OpenGL preview so I suspect you were using the default GDI Preview.

Vixen 3 shuts down when opening 'Configure Preview'

We have a workaround but it is not elegant so there is more work investigation needed. This test build is equivalent to 3.11u1 but the OpenGL preview is disabled. Please uninstall 3.11u1 and install this test build. That should get you going until we fix this issue in an official build.
