Box and cane printed .

I want to see the cane lit up. Now that I've found I can print at twice the normal speed, I might be interested in these now. :sneaky:

I'm pretty used to printing over night.

Not tried lighting yet . Looks like I am banned here again. Was able to login and post that video . ..
Tried to login today but it's a no go . I cannot use my phone for this unfortunately .

Do you use xFinity? Evidently a number of users are locked out due to the "fix" for the site slowness.

Dang that looks really good. I wasn't considering this angle very much but now I am.

I still need to get back to my canes project. It got put on hold...

What filament are you using?

Strange to be able to login again from my PC.
Typing from or preforming tasks on a phone, other than video or pics is not for me .

This is cheapo PETG translucent filament.

I'm now leery of uploading links as I have been banned the last 2x .

Ernie , I don't think speed will help u much with these prints as u want the best bond possible with this filament and model's final print outcome.
You are certainly welcome to print this if interested .

Note: there is some post with these prints . 220 grit as always is your friend ...lol.

Send me a link and I'll post it. I haven't had any problems, so far.

I'm not worried. I've been running at normal speed for the first two layers and then "letten 'er rip" for the rest. My worst still seems better than your best.

This was printed at full speed.

The original post said just over a meter but I thought I saw a post that said 39 inches. That might be without the base, which would put it over.

I've got 2:40 left on a print. I didn't go insane but it is printing at 124% speed and it looks good, so far.

i'll be honest , my head is swimming in 3D files . I've lost track on the size of this cane . each shaft piece is 210 mm if i recall
you can add as many as you like . I think 4 was in reason . the crook is quite broad .

If we need a larger base , that's a quick option also . very light weight parts for this .
