My wife gave me some Asahom permanent lights for my birthday, saying we needed more lights for Christmas. I’ve been wanting to install them on the eaves around my house, but I don’t like visible wires. After looking into tracks to hide them, I found they were too expensive—anywhere from $60 for 50 feet to over $1,000 for the whole house. Then, while browsing YouTube, I found a guy named Northern Chris, who used vinyl undersill trim and a bit of elbow grease to install his lights for just $0.51 per foot, or about $40 for 50 feet (adjusted for current prices).
If you’re searching for a way to hide those wires, take a look at his video. When the weather cools down a bit (I live in the South), I plan to install these lights using this technique. If you have any ideas or suggestions, share them with the community.
