ENTTEC DMX Pro not working with Linx V 5

As for DMX for the LYNX control boxes - I think I read something about you have to cross wire the DMX 5 pin output. It uses pins 2 and 3 and the Lynx use 1 and 2?? Is that right? And how would you wire something like that? Thanks
 
Just got to build an adapter. But before doing any of that, just use some alligator clip test leads to try it before committing to soldering anything.

Lynx Express use an RJ45 connector, not an XLR.

It uses the DMX over RJ45 standard of DMX+ on Pin 1 and DMX- on Pin 2 of the RJ45

XLR (both 3 and 5 pin) put DMX- on Pin 2 and DMX+ on Pin 3.

So connect Pin 3 of your adapter (assuming it's XLR) to Pin 1 on an RJ45 plug, and Pin 2 to Pin 2.

People use Wifi here all the time. And yes we can get to -30, although it's somewhat rare and usualy later than display season.

-15 for sure though, in December, and usually -20 sometime in the winter.
