Error Converting LOR to Vixen

When I try to use LOR2VIX to convert my files I get a Conversion Error:

"There was an error opening the specified file.

It appears the file may be a LOR v1 file."

The LOR Sequence Editor I used to save the files is version 2.8.12

I am pretty sure that should of worked with LOR 2.8.12, I use LOR 2.9.4 advanced and I never had a problem converting a file to Vixen.

Another thing you should check for is that your LOR sequence should not have any channels turned on at the end of your sequence or you will sometimes get a conversion error......leave the last few cells in the sequence turned off in the timing grid..

I don't recall what LOR does when opening a v1 file - does it automatically convert it if you just do "Save"? I'm wondering if you could try doing a "Save As" and perhaps there are some options to indicate a conversion to S2?

Correct a "Save As" should be done also, THX Brian,;)

Made sure all channels were off at the end of the sequence and did a "save as" and ended up with the same error?

What error are you getting?
If you like I will try and convert it for you, give a fake name with no audio and you can send it to me and I will see what I can do. PM me if interested.

Thank you all. I found the problem. The sequences were programed on a computer where LOR was only a Demo so I guess that encrypted the files. Once I registered the program on that computer and did a "Save As" everything worked.
