F.A.S.T. Finally Affordable Snowfall Tube. Hardware parts?

I have an idea for a snowfall tube, that is a bit different. it uses a programmable driver to allow multiple flakes to fall, at varying speeds and brightness. And allows multiple to fall at the same time at different speeds. In my opinion, it looks nicer than the ones that are constant speed, brightness, and intervals. BUT....... I remember this F.A.S.T. thread, but don't know/remember what was used to power it, or the tubes, caps, etc. Anyone know what it was you can send me / post links to?

Thanks.

I never built one myself but the parts section say that the tubes a just common florescent light tube covers. There are two sizes, you probably will want the thinner one.

In the contoller section, the schematic shows that power is 5 volts.

I bought some from alibaba or similar years ago that screw into C9 light strings. I wish i could find the socket ends and tubes to use.

Would be pretty trivial to 3D print some caps.

I don't know where you'd find the c9 sockets unless you harvested them from some old bulbs.

I have 10 of these that are programmed for different speeds that I don't use anymore. They are 5 volt and pic controlled.
