Has anyone seen this type of sphere wireframe available now?

I found this old thread: https://www.doityourselfchristmas.c...ept-in-wire-frames-no-welding-required.26068/

It looks like a great idea. It's no longer available (if it ever was) on the web site/vendor listed. I know Boscoyo Studios has coro-based spheres, but I like the openness of this (the open volume without obstructions) for the aesthetic I'm trying to create. Seems it could be done with some wire and a welder (or JB Weld or other epoxy). My welder is currently buried in a storage pod as I'm in the middle of a move.

Thanks in advance for any tips/links/suggestions.

Maybe you could substitute, using two half-sphere handing planter basket metal frames together.
I tried this a few years ago. It looks okay, but sphere props wasn't suitable for my layout. The concept works though.

Then cable tie pixels or static lights on.

Great idea! I saw your reply on my phone, but missed the picture below. I searched HomeDepot and found this similar basket. The construction is more "regular", like longitudinal lines on a globe, which may be easier to use.

Thanks!

craft outlet sells wire spheres quite reasonably

My wife says the major down side of me going to a craft store with her is that I keep picking things up and trying to figure out how to turn them into a prop for the show.
