JLCPCB

For now I'm giving up on jlcpcb because of their shipping arrangements. The Fedex/DHL arrangements are way too expensive, and the local deliverer (GOFO Deliverer) of their el-cheapo, slow-boat shipper (Global Standard Direct) has apparently been sitting on my package for six days here in Minneapolis.

Have you fund a good alternative yet? One with an extensive and searchable parts library like jlcpcb?
I'm was using them for pcb fabrication of boards that I've designed, not for board assembly, so I don't need their parts library (and they didn't have what I wanted when I looked a while back). As far as alternatives go, I haven't searched very hard, mostly using oshpark because I mostly only need small quantities.

The package finally arrived last night or this morning sometime. That was 21 days or so in transit, of which 11 days was sitting in Minneapolis.

Last Tuesday I place another order with them, which reported arrived in Chicago today. It took three days to fabricate (a little longer than normal because I wanted it in blue), and three days in transit so far. We'll see how long it takes to arrive on my doorstep or mailbox.

Just to be safe, I also ordered that same pcb design from OSHPark a day after placing the jlcpcb order. According to OSHPark, the board 'shipped' today. It'll be curious to see which arrives first, the jlcpcb package from Melrose Park, Il via GOFO, or the OSHPark package via the much-maligned deep-state service from Lake Oswego, Oregon. If I were a betting person I would bet on the USPS, with the wild-card being the ongoing activities (deliberately and cowardly down-played) in Minneapolis.

I needed some ESP Snap-in, so I grabbed the Gerber file from Dirk and ordered 20 boards from Elecrow for $20, including shipping and tariffs. According to their website, shipping is with DDP and should take about 6–11 days. So far, I’ve had no issues with them. Just ordered some more, I'll keep you updated on any issues.

Thanks. I took a look at them this last time around, and they didn't seem to be appreciably better or worse on paper than the other two places that I looked at.

I've always had excellent service from Elecrow. I kind of miss ordering boards from them... and the anticipation of receiving them, sometimes within the week. I recall one time placing an order on a Sunday night after finishing a design and receiving them the following Friday. Not sure if the current state of world affairs works that way anymore....

Miracle of miracles! The package from jlcpcb was delivered today, the same day that it arrived in Minneapolis and only 12 days after I placed the order. And better yet, I was able to get my snowblower started.

I placed an order with Elecrow earlier today. Their cheapest shipping was more expensive than jlcpcb's cheapest shipping, although I expect that it will be faster with Elecrow. Unlike jlcpcb, their site apparently doesn't provide production status information.

I just had a look to see who I was using for PCBs in some of my projects and PCBWAY was the ticket at the time .
do not recall any issues with them .

They probably put your order in immediately and I wouldn't be surprised if it was done by noon tomorrow.

I just checked the status of my order with elecrow, and it's still in production. Interestingly (or alarmingly), I notice that they didn't pick up the board dimensions from the .GML file, and have the dimensions specified as 10cmX10cm (and I apparently left the fields in their default state when I ordered). I wonder what I'll get.

The design was much smaller than 10cmx10cm, so I might get a board that is a lot larger than I had desired.
