Last year my LEDTriks died because my XBees stopped working. I couldn't find an elegant wireless serial solution, so I am looking to use a Pi Zero W running FPP 3.6.2 which has the output for Triks-C.
I feel I have two options. One is to use the Micro-USB output to RS485 converter using the FPP output ttyAMA0 or ttyS0 and plugging the TX and GRND to the appropriate input on the Triks-C. Not very elegant.
The other is to use the output pins on the PI Zero pin 8 (channel 10) and ground. but I am not sure how to set up THAT output in FPP. I little easier hardware wise, but I am not sure how to direct the output to the board.
If anyone has a better solution using FPP, I am all ears.
Thanks for your help.
