Projecting Disney, or other copyrighted material

Hello, not sure if this is in the right place, but I have noticed more companies that are selling sequences are adding MP4 movies for p5/p10 screens,
and those mp4's are included when you purchase the sequence, they are Disney, etc movie bits, I want to use them, but do I need to worry about getting in trouble or sued for having it playing on my home?

it is illegal to use copywrite material, song or video, in your show. If you receive a cease and desist order, it is best to follow it immediatly. With that said, we have found that as long as you do not collect money for any reason and give credit to the originator of the works, they will be reluctant to sue you for ussing it in a holiday show, They DO have the right to sue you, but damages (other than to make an example oof you) are generaly not worth it and they risk being viewed as a grinch which caan make them look bad

When people SELL stuff with copyrighted material, that's a problem. But it's the seller taking on the liability. You, the buyer, probably won't get in trouble.

This happens with stageplays more often than you might think. Royalties commonly run around $1600, but some people will stage entire stageplays and sell tickets without a license (or even put on a play whose playwright is not even offering licenses to the public). Obviously the people buying tickets (i.e. you) won't get into trouble. The theater company, though, is asking for it.
