I know there are some mods out there for the RBLs but has anyone tried to print one of these complete bulb and socket ? Either as a one or 2 piece
I’ve started working on one but if someone has done it already it would save some time if willing to share .

not the bulb itself. Lots of mounting options out there.

I was working on an idea I had last night for a RBL as I couldn’t find anything on line so thought I’d ask here before putting too much into it .
Thanks

That is exactly what I've been looking for. I am horrible at 3d design, even in tinker cad. I've been all over thingverse looking for something like this. I have the Ender3 and a Geetech A20m. The Ender so far is the best. Maybe in time I will get the geetech printing as good. But out of the box the Ender 3 was ready to go with little adjustment.

Yes, same here, I love all my ender3 pros

That's the size of the round cable like DIYledexpress used to sell. I said used to sell because I went to their site and it looks like they pretty much discontinued selling them. Not sure what the deal is there.

Keep up the work on this, as I really want to add more and now have a big enough printer to actually handle this.
Few questions:
1) What software are you using to design it in? I work in OpenSCAD for all my stuff...
2) Are you planning on posting the design files and/or the finished .stl?
3) Do you have a drain hole in the tip of the bulb like the originals do?
4) Any plan to "flare" the cap towards the bulb so it has a more authentic C9 look?

1- fusion360
2- yes I plan to share
3- yes drain holes at tip
4- yes initial plan was to try to print the threaded ends but that is posing a headache and waste of a lot of filament and time so I am looking at a different setup for the screw on set up the bulb part will stay same as of now .
