Overview

This project is still in the very early stages of development but here is some information so far...

  • A 1" x 16" strip containing two rows of 36 5mm superflux RGB leds (commonly called Piranha Leds).
  • Design would allow to half populate the leds to a single row of 36 leds\
  • The board is being designed to be driven from either a Ren24 LV, a DC SSR, or a RenC + grinch or 595.
  • Design allowing to be mountable into a 3/4" aluminum channel or some similar casing
  • Design uses the same rj-5 connector used in many of the DIYC designs.


    Frank Kostyun is heading up this design and expect to hopefully see something come out in '09...

    As of March 17th 2009 final pcb design has not yet been reached. July 19th 2009 the first production run is in the process. expect to have photos posted soon.
