Board Assembly

New assembly instructions are being developed. Until they are finished continue to use the instructions found here.

Parts Listing (BOM)

IMPORTANT BOM INFORMATION:

As part of an effort to standardize the parts used on all the Renard systems, the following BOM has had several parts replaced compared to previous versions of the BOM. Any parts that were purchased based on the previous BOMs can and should still be used to populate the board.

Mouser part numbers are listed (unless otherwise noted) as a means of simplifying the listing. Mouser is not the only place to get these parts, they are used as the reference since they tend to have all the parts needed to complete the project. However, the parts can be procured from any electronics parts source that you prefer.

Design Notes/Assembly Tips

VER 1.9.1 Coop Board

Silkscreen Errors/Notes
  • C1 & C2 silkscreen shows 0.1uF should be 1uF
  • Output terminal numbers not in correct order when compared to Vixen channel numbers. Output terminals 9-16 correspond to Vixen channels 1-8 and output terminals 1-8 correspond to Vixen channels 9-16.

Changes from VER 1.9
  • R1-R16 values changed from 178 to 180 ohm

Board Issues
  • Bottom trace for H1 has a break in it. Instructions on how to fix this are located here.
