Overview

This project is still in the very early stages of development but here is some information so far...

  • A 1" x 18" strip containing two rows of 36 5mm superflux RGB leds (commonly called Piranha Leds).
  • Design would allow to half populate the leds to a single row of 36 leds\
  • The board is being designed to be driven from either a Ren24 LV, a DC SSR, or a RenC + grinch or 595.
  • Design allowing to be mountable into a 3/4" aluminum channel or some similar casing Frank Kostyun is heading up this design and expect to hopefully see something come out in '09...
