I'm considering changing up the lighting control on my motorcycle parade lights. Currently I have 3 colors run through a music controller that uses the sound frequency to turn on/off the lights. It hasn't worked out as I planned so I'm thinking a dc ssr with controller would be a better option. I can easily build a circuit to keep the 12v stable and if needed I could even build something to regulate the 5v if it is needed and a laptop won't provide that. What recommendations would you have for a dcssr to control 4-12 circuits? I can easily split the light strands into separate circuits instead of just using the color. Also, are there any dcssr setups that have the controller with it so I only need one circuit board? I figure I'll use either a usb or RJ45 connector to hook my laptop directly to the setup.
