Well it looks like a little lizard got himself fried with 12v of FM transmitter goodness. Unfortunately, it appears to have broken my FM02 as all I get now is static. I've been messing around with it for a couple of hours and was able to get sound using a stereo to mono cable but the sound was really, really low. That got me thinking that, it appears the FM transmitter portion is working fine, it's just the DAC that's hosed. I have several DAC's around here that I could sacrifice for the cause. The problem is, I'm not clear where the DAC ends and the transmitter begins. My hunch is the same place that RDS injection hacks are made, but I'm not 100% on that. If anyone has intimate knowledge of this board that could point me in the right direction, it would be greatly appreciated.
