Arch Lights - Pixels Strips or Pixel Strings / Bullets?

I use PEX and run my pixels at 100% and they are still significantly dimmer than all my other props.

I have gone from strips to bullets in my PEX arches but yeah, bright 100%.

Since this thread is necro'ed and it's Halloween time, I should mention that although I love the look of AC or fairy lights inside of schedule-20 PVC for Halloween, I don't think pixels inside of PVC is a good use of time or pixels. The PVC seems to let through only the lower red spectra of light. Whites and reds inside have worked for me (giving off a dull red on the outside), but RGB was just wasteful. I wouldn't bother at all with schedule-40 PVC, or for Christmas. And effect-wise, I lean toward an always-on effect. The ability to individually sequence the pixels adds very little to this one.

I have decided to run the pixel strips outside this year since I am using PVC. Will get something Opaque next year.

I like the neon tube effect on mine, so I went with strip. But it's the only thing I use strip on.
