coro color question

I have built a few coro props using white coroplast but I have noticed that some of the sold ones are black. Are there advantages/disadvantages of white over black or vice versa??

None. The coro has some added ingredients to make them a little more UV stable but any coro will get brittle after to much time in the sun. Been using it for 30+ years in the sign industry it is what it is.

Thinking about painting some coro snowflakes the same color as the house. Is painting it an ok good idea?

You will have to use the spray paint made for plastic and it will help extend the life of the coro.

I've noticed that the white kind of makes the lights have an aura or more of a larger glow than the black.

Agreed, a gloss will "glow" and reflect light more then a matte. I've always used Black matte for my screw cover-ups.
