DMX16-DCSSR error state?

So, I'm trying to use my DCSSR for the first time in forever to run my mighty-mini's (again - first time in forever).. Tried changing the start channel using the 'switchless' method.. and it doesn't appear to be working. When I plug in any kind of DMX controller, the RED LED goes solid, and nothing happens. I see no DMX activity. Have I cooked this thing?

And documentation on it is pretty sparse. I've had to dig through the forums to find references to it, but I did read that it uses that 'switchless' method for changing the start channels. Beyond that, I have no idea. It did work at one point..

Thanks Craig!

I had read the first post you put up yesterday, but hadn't read the second one. But, I tried setting it using both Vixen and XLights, and it doesn't seem like it's wanting to talk DMX... I've tried 2 known good DMX devices to talk to the controller, and every time I connect the cable to the controller, all I get is a solid RED LED, and nothing else.
