House outline

We live in a ranch style house. Brick and shingle roof. All one level.

My question is how to attach anything or how does everyone do the roof outline?

Im using pixels.

I'm just starting to install. Actually about 2 years ago I installed one set to see if they were "invisible", and for the most part I'd say yes. J-Channel that matches the color of the existing product, drilled 3" apart for square pixels. Running a distributed (planned) 34VDC power rail, with DC/DC bucks installed in each J-Channel (heat shrinked, constant current supplies). The picture is where I was testing for 3" and 2" spacing but it shows the general approach I am using.

Did mine cheap and easy but still looks good and my HOA don’t see them

I looked at the PermaTrack stuff, but at $4/ft, they can keep it. It would cost $600 just for the track. I am thinking of using J-Channel myself with some elbow grease. If it were $2/ft, I would consider it.

All great examples and advice, but nobody asked him a very important question: do you want a more permanent install? Or a seasonal one you take down? If you have one, it would help to include a picture of the house and maybe a closer shot of the area you are hoping to install to
