Icicle Light Mounting/straightening

What methods are people using to mount pixel icicle lights so they hang straight and uniform?

I’ve used the Boscoyo icicle strips but have a difficult time attaching them to the gutter. When the wind blows they end up flipped up onto the roof or coming of of the gutter.
