Icosa star mounting on tree?

I have just ordered an icosa star and wondering about tree mounting I know from what I've read that it will go on a pole of some sort(Have not decided on metal or pvc yet ).
Has anyone here got one and securely mounted it and how advice please.

I cut out a small hole to slide in a 3/4 EMT metal pole. I covered the top with a sponge. One slide in and attached to the top of my tree I use two 1/8” para cords to go over crisscross to hold it down and keep it from tying to turn. Mine is 3 years old and going strong. Keep it simple

Thanks I found another thread on it eventually.. I am going to try upv conduit with end plate and heat and bend cut out areas for pixels holes. Then push 20mm metal pipe or rod inside conduit .Then mark holes and drill for zip ties. Over engineered possibly more complicated sure but this I DIY and if it works I'll be amazed.lol
