Hi Everyone,

With less than 24 hours to go, we've decided to attempt a Live Meeting of the Philly Mini for those of us who can not attend in person!!!

Please know that we'll do the best we can, but it's pretty last minute.

Here are the steps you can do NOW to make it easier for tomorrow.

Step 1: At least 30 minutes BEFORE 10am EST on Saturday 7/26.
To save time before the meeting, check your system to make sure it is ready to use Microsoft Office Live Meeting.

Step 2: At 10am EST on Saturday 7/26.
Go to https://www112.livemeeting.com/cc/microsoft/join?id=ZC8J9K&role=attend

Unable to join the meeting? Follow these steps:

Copy this address and paste it into your web browser:

Copy and paste the required information:

Meeting ID: ZC8J9K

I went there to test it out. I used the web version of the Live Meeting and I saw the slide. That is really cool, a good idea. It did say something about this meeting uses computer audio and the web version of Live Meeting doesn't support that, so I might install the local version so I can check it out. I might be able to get in for a little bit tomorrow, but it's also our annual golf outing so I probably can't visit too long. I like the concept though! Have fun at the mini!

DON'T use the web version if you want to hear audio :)
Install the actual client to your machine and you'll get a much richer experience, including audio :)
 
Great job Kevin, when there and gorehounds test is great. Don't have a microphone, so I couldn't let him know.

Besides being a computer guru, radio specialist and massive Blinky builder, when do you have time to work.

I was able to log on and saw (and heard) you talking to someone!! Also see the slide once you logged off. Awsome!!!!! Great Job!!!!!!!!
 
Wow, pretty cool. Don't have a microphone otherwise I would have chatted. ;)

(mental note for next year... come down the night before... :D)

For those who didn't see this thread earlier, I'll be on for a while more tonight for you to test your connection / ask questions, and I'll try to join tomorrow between 9 and 9:30 am for those who might have issues...

Hi Everyone,
Everything is working fine, we've tested it with over a dozen people tonight.

For those trying to get in after 9pm EST tonight, they are in a 7 hour scheduled downtime - It won't be back up until 4:00am EST.

You won't be able to get in until 4:01 am EST, so I'll just see you around 9-9:30 EST on Saturday the 26th.

Mmm, its all working..

However 10am EST, is 2am here and Midnight in Aussie.. I might just catch you on the tail end... Have a great one over there..
 
Well I'm waiting,:p got it to work, but I dont have a webcam or microphone:(
So I'll just watch and listen
