LOR and vixen setup

I'm desperately trying to get Vixen to control my LOR boards. Mainly due to I will be adding in Renards next year and want to control them all from Vixen.

I'm running into some issues with the vixen reidfolor plugin:

I'm trying to read quickly, but what would be required to control the LOR's as a DMX device? Is it a custom usb/dmx dongle?

Are there other options besides reverting to LOR S2?

I am no LOR expert but I "think" any DMX dongle will work. You would only need to make a cable to utilize the proper pinout on both ends.

I can tell you that the Enttec USB Open and RPM's DMX dingle both work with LOR. I would suggest using RPM's however since there are some issues with the Open...

I am using the Lynx dongle to control both Lynx boxes and LOR boxes. Works great but you do have to make a special cable.
