Making and old tree smart...

I have an old tree with incandescent lights and too many of them broke. I have a couple other such trees that probably won't last much longer. I already took all the lights off and thinking of putting pixels on it. Has anyone done anything like this? If so, how did you arrange the lights and how did you program them?

Took me a few minutes to find an old video I remember. ListenToOurLights on Youtube https://www.youtube.com/@listentoourlights/featured has trees very similar to that. At 11 minutes into this video he talks about how he modeled them in Xlights https://youtu.be/dTHnwZRgfR8?t=661 Here is a close up test of them, not sure how they are attached: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=WQgtRMhE1UA and https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=2exSd0IMcj4 I also found this video of nutz4lights that has some details he talks about at 6 minutes in this video: https://vimeo.com/200163736?embedded=true&source=video_title&owner=1004473

Thanks a lot for those links. In the earlier videos they just seem to put the pixels up in a circular motion. In the later video it seems more complicated so I am trying to figure that out.
