Mega Tree base ideas requested

Hi folks

Slowly upgrading my mega tree, just wondering what others use for a base.

I currently have 2 layers of 1x6 pine board cut into 32 angled and overlapped sections to form my 10 diameter base.

Having upgraded my main pole, I may as well consider upgrading the 14 year old base

I use 3 - 10' sections of 1" EMT, bent in to a circle. Anchored with spiral dog tie down stakes from Home Depot.

I use 2 10' sections of grey 1/2" PVC Conduit to form a 6' circle for the bottom of my 10' Megatree. It is anchored every 90 degrees.

Since our trees do not touch the ground, we use a 3/4" EMT, properly bent into a partial circle and connected to the center-pole. The circle is then held to the ground by stakes and short cables.

Note that a friend paints a circle out from his center-pole (Munkhouse Portable Hole), then he takes each of his strips to the ground and spikes each strip down. His tree is quite sturdy as I've witnessed it stand in some pretty hefty winds.

We both use a pair of cables from the back of the tree topper to the ground for balance.

I use an old trampoline, take the legs off if you don't need the height.
