MPASMWIN error when assembling SS24 operational firmware

Every time I try to assemble a hex file when using the asm file from the wiki page mpasmwin keeps telling me
"Error In Parameter - Firmware/Renard_SS_Operational_Firmware.asm"
Then it says
"Unrecognized Error 32"

Am I doing something wrong or is there another firmware location?

Thanks!

Don't ask me why, but I shortened the name of the file to RenardSS24 and now mpasmwin will assemble a hex file.

Now when I try to import it into my Pickit software it says
"Warning: No configuration words in hex file"
"In MPLAB use File-Export to save hex with config"

Any ideas??

Finally got it to import the hex file. It's really wierd, sometimes it will now load fine and other times it won't. At least I seem to have the pics I needed programmed.

Hi Javo,

I am considering adding DMX flood lighting to my Xmas display next year. I currently have 5 Renard ss24 boards programmed with the default Ren firmware. Would you know if I need to flash all PICs w/ the DMX firmware and do I need to deal with any additional settings in Hex for assignments?
