My Mini trees

Found some siding scraps at HD for 51 cents. Cut 16" squares, fastened mini frames with screws and fender washers, sprayed black.
Going to wrap with R, G, B, W minis. 2, 100ct strings each. I'll stake them to the ground with 60D nails so the wind doesn't blow them over.

Just some food for thought, I have those same cages, you really need to use 3 strands to make it look good.

I have the same cages also and you need to run an extra wire down between the cage wires otherwise the trees look a little triangular. I used light guage wire that comes on rolls like picture hanging wire. You can use it to tie the top together and then run up and down threading it like a basketweave. Also the 2 strands of 100ct lights will work but it looks much better with 3. Good Luck

Same cages as well, I wrapped mine in chicken wire which allows you multiple tie down points and keeps its shape.
Used mini zip-ties and 4 strings of 70 count Mini's in 4 different colours which is controlled by 1 SSROZ unit for each tree.
12 minitrees x 4 colours x 4 channels all dimming allows for a vast color choice.

Same cages too - I just used two to make each tree, and spaced the legs so there are 6 at equal distances...
