Mystery IC

I have a simple DMX to PWM output controller, which internally uses a microprocessor and 3 x ICs on a serial chain. I checked out the signal paths and the timing of the signal with my scope and test meter, it looks like the ICs are controlled by WS2911 data from the microprocessor output. The ICs are 16 pin, so allowing for +V, gnd, data in and data out, that leaves 12 outputs for the PWM connections. On the board two of the ICs are fully connected (24 ouputs), the third has just the 6 connections (24 + 6 = 30)

My question is - does anyone have any idea what these ICs might be? I'd like to use similar in another project I have in mind.

There is nothing obvious printed on the ICs themselves, they are literally 'black boxes'

I've had a good poke around AliExpress and come up with nothing.

Thanks!
