New Registrations

As of now all new user registrations will need approval by me before they can post. This is a lot more work for me but I feel it is needed to prevent the board being spammed like it was in the past 24 hours.

Wayne and Phil did an awesome job yesterday. My hat is off to them.

As Murphy would have it, I was away in PA all day yesterday with the family and had no internet access to assist Wayne and Phil, nor did I even know about it until about 9pm last night.

A BIG Thanks goes out to Wayne and Phil for their diligent hard work!!!

I have been manually approving all the new registrations for a while now. It seems that our new security question has stopped the bots from getting through. This is not to say that no spammers can get though. We still get the real person spammer register and activate their account but it is manageable. I have turned off the manually approve requirement for now. It is tough to keep up with all the registrations this time of year.

If some spammers to get through just report them and we will eradicate them as soon as possible.
