I am looking to do a new star for my mega tree. I have 3 channels devoted to the star, so I have a few options. My question is about the Dripping Icicle Tubes that CDI is offering. I would like to try and use them as a star burst that will use 8 of the 20" and 8 of the 10" ones. If I apply power to them do they go off at the same time or are they random?
The other thought was to design a LED controller that would do this. Basically it would illuminate the LED's from the center out and then repeat. Has anyone made such a device?
