Not the phone call I want to make

I received a call from my sons Hospice nurse updating me on his condition. Unfortunately his condition is declining and she does not think he will make Christmas.
She strongly suggested I call a crematory ( his choice) and make final arrangements. Not something I was looking forward to. Since he is a distance from me I will have to do it over the phone. We do have a flight booked to go see him and celebrate an early Christmas with him and his children. Just needing a few prayers of support at a difficult time.
