Project #3: PVC/Polycarbonate North Pole Lights - for the paved entrance walkway

I had a request for some more info on the light fittings I used - they were a very old set I had in the garage that had never been opened - were called Moonlite.
Here are some pics of the original box and the light fittings, as well as some alternate possible solutions using recessed-type fittings; alternatively there are "Puck" fittings as well as 12v outdoor garden spike lights - they key is to ensure that the light fitting housing fits comfortably into the PVC section, and allows the cover to be snapped over it ;)

HowardB what led straps did you use? How far apart are they?

Hi Skunberg,

The LED straps are 3528 SMD 12v strips- I used a few 5m rolls of red and white for my various projects - the length used per pole would depend on the length you make it/them - just check the "cut" lines of the strips first; makes it easier ;)
The PVC pipe is about 24cm circumference and I lined them up with the candy stripe centers - approx. 12cm center to center
